Arm Care Club

Skala Pitching Performance Arm Care Club. This is a weekly training for arm care and health. This is the time to get your routine down and start taking care of your arm. We will work toward building a bulletproof pitching rotation with individualized arm care.

ArmCare Technology

Uses your strength, fatigue, and recovery data to individualize training and unlock the potential for huge velocity gains. We will test your strength and range of motion to identify weak links and imbalances in your arm. This will be a data-led training program to help protect your arm and increase velocity.

Key Metrics

  1. Strength - Arm Score is your overall arm strength factored for your size and weight. The higher the number, the stronger and healthier you are.
  2. Fatigue - Players fatigue at different rates, therefore, we will track the player's strength before and after throwing. The goal is to retain more than 90% of your strength.
  3. Recovery - Shows the difference between your most recent exam versus your average. If the Recovery Score is a positive number, it means you are gaining strength.

How It Works

This training will provide the “What & How” to arm care health, development, and performance. Within the ArmCare app that we will provide, you will know exactly what training you need to do each day, along with videos to help you along the way.


  • Using the ArmCare Sensor, we will test out once a week
  • If Pitcher: Bullpen day or heavy throwing day each week
  • If Position Player: Select a day and do it the same day each week
  • Daily Check In
  • Record how your arm and body feel and your sleep quality
  • Complete your custom prep, shoulder, hip, and core activation
  • Complete your custom training for the day
